Day two of our latest timber frame project, sole plates set out and bolted in place now the structure for the ground floor walls is complete with only one and a half days of actual build time 🔨
The floor will be hung from the glulam rim board pictured, but doubles up as structural support above any openings. Building airtight requires good sequencing so we’ve wrapped intello membrane behind the glulam for taping further down the line.
Now for some airtight racking board…
